I have never read a Camel Club book. I have read Baldacci’s “The Christmas Train”. That was a good book, so I was excited to delve into “Stone Cold”. The beginning was difficult, because I was unaware of the characters and their history. Baldacci tried to weave some explanation of the characters in the first few pages without interrupting the plot. Though, I had to learn each character, it was worth it. It is not a quick read; “Stone Cold” has many twists and turns. Nothing is as it seems. Will all of the Camel Club survive this battle? Read and find out. I recommend reading all the Camel Club books in order. Put that on your Christmas list. |
